ISATA KAMARA was born in 1993 in Freetown, Sierra Leone, and grew up in Switzerland. She completed her acting training at the Samts-Schauspielschule in Zurich (2012-2014) and at the Joop van den Ende Academy in Hamburg (2015-2017).
Even before her training, Isata appeared on stage in the leading role of the musical Aida at the Gloria Theatre in Bad Säckingen. Other highlights of her career include solo performances at Zurich Night Shopping, engagements with the Zurich Singers Gospel Choir and film and television roles, including the series Die Pfefferkörner - Neuanfang (2024) and the international blockbuster Mission Impossible 8 (2025).
She is proficient in several languages and dialects - German, English, Krio and Swiss German - and has a wide range of special skills, including martial arts, dance and singing.
Isata Kamara currently lives in Hamburg and Zurich, but is flexibly available for projects in Berlin, Cologne, London and America.
